E.   During the last 12 months, the station employment unit engaged in the following initiatives:

 

Prong 3 Menu Option

 

On November 13, 2003, KPEJ created and distributed 700 pamphlets containing job descriptions in a broadcast television station. The pamphlet contained information on education or experience needed to fill these positions. It was distributed to schools, colleges, employment agencies and various recruitment sources.

November 17, 2003, KPEJ attended a job fair at The University of Texas of the Permian Basin, where we distributed an additional 200 pamphlets and took applications.

December 13, 2003  A request was made to send an additional 100 pamphlets to the Ector County Independent School District for distribution to the students.

March 4, 2004 KPEJ attended a career fair at Odessa College. We printed and distributed approximately 200 pamphlets and took applications.
